A very close match at Brooklands between the top two saw 11 goals, and some brilliant goals along the way. Maccabi opened the scoring through Will Feldman but the visitors equalised then another 2 from Feldman made it 3-1 but once again Jewventus recovered restoring parity at 3-3 but there was still time for Feldman to get a fourth and keep his team in front by the break.
In the second period, the hosts raced to a 6-3 lead but once again Jewventus bounced back but just fell short of the full recovery again lending to a feast of goals with a final score of 6-5. Shimi Moses scored an excellent hatrick for the visitors and noting a brace from Zalman Cohen, the first was within seconds of coming on. This means Maccabi sit top with 10 pts having beaten their closest rivals prior to this weekend.
Over at Frederick Road, a very tight game saw Broughton Park Rangers jump up to 2nd dislodging Jewventus in the process. Generally a well contested good game of football. BPR took the lead midway through the first half when Yoni Green finished into the bottom corner and were value for the lead at half time.
The "visitors" and designated away team continued to dominate with a key midfield battle. Jasper Van Veen doubled the lead from a quick throw in but the game was made nervy when Reich somewhat deservedly had held in there and pulled a goal back through Ben Burton with 5 mins to play from a set piece then a late free kick may have seen the points shared but Rangers managed to defend out a deserved win.
Haroldeans could not play due to tier restrictions on travel.
