Broughton Park Rangers travelled over the Pennines and returned with a draw against Leeds Maccabi. A rare goalless first half in the MJSL turned into a goal glut after the break with 4 goals and the points shared. On the mark for the hosts were Johnny Goldstone and Brad Raw with Sam Fine and Ollie Gordon for the visitors. Best players on the day were Marcus Shaffner for Leeds and Sol Moore for Rangers.
At Frederick Rd, reigning Champions Haroldeans flew into a 6-0 lead by half time with 2 goals from Adam Shiffman and one each for Adam Taylor, Jack Bookey, Eden Harris and Sam Kersh. The second half was a lot closer and Jewventus kept some pride in tact by scoring two through Shlomo Landes and Jack Isaacs. Merseyside keeper Jared Clein ventured forward and scored a penalty also. Haroldeans won 7-2 and sit top of the table with Reich after their first two league matches.
